Update - Status as on 15th Oct 2008

Greetings,

Over the last year - there has been a few developments though we have not moved on many areas. I thought it is prudent to consolidate our activities and look at next steps . It is probably better to focus on a few projects for the next few months and ensure that we make some headway .So we will concentrate on the following

1 Best Project of Year award

Jayashree Venkataraman has taken the lead here supported by Lakshminaryana Kari . If any one is interested in this ( including those who shown interest earlier ) please send a mail to Jayashree at jayashree.venkataraman@microsoft.com

2 Indian Project Management Congress

This is another initiative we are pursuing - the idea is to have all India based event where all interested assoc eg PMI,IPMA,AACE,Univ etc can join . There is some interest on this from some assoc and possibly we will have this event in May 2009 .

3. To give more focus for our activities we have decided to form a Core Team. Currently we have the following members .

Raju Rao
Jayashree Venkataraman
Ramanamurthy Kaluri

The Core team will be working on making particpation in the forum more useful and effective and give direction to the 2 projects - Best Project award and Indian Proj Mgt Congress .

As of now , except for the projects those listed above we will not pursue any other projects unless there is substantial interest in any of them.
